We visited another children's museum and we loved it to! Really we can't wait for Tulsa to get one haha. Ethan and Daddy

Ellie, Rubee, Eli, Avalynn. This was at the work site area they all had a blast.

In the kitchen area, the kids were fixing dinner for all of adults, pops and nanna enjoyed this.

Ethan loved these stairs he played here, going up and down the stairs the majority of the morning. The first hour he did great walking very smooth and then he started wobbling and then falling and then diving down the stairs. Sooo funny, Ethan is the funniest baby I have ever seen, Nick and I just watch him wobble around and making all of us laugh.

Welcoming Christmas

So we went to look at lights and bring in the Christmas Holiday, we went to light up Louisville which is down town. It was freezing walking from the car, however there were so many people down town it wasn't cold at all! This was the best Picture from the night! The childrens museum

This was at the Children's Museum Eli was very excited to stand inside this bubble. When we got there they were out of bubbles so we had to wait for more bubbles but it was worth it Elle and Eli played in it for about 15 min. A very big hit! The Museum was fun for the kids but I think Nick and Zack actually had the most fun! There was a water experiment place, Eli, Nick and Zack Played an extra hour in this room alone!

Thanksgiving!!

We went to Kentucky for the Thanksgiving Holiday!! We had so much fun! It was also the first time we got to meet our new Baby cousin Stone! Silly Ethan, he did not want to sleep this trip.... so he didn't, which means mommy and daddy got to work overtime. haha

Eli turns 4 Again

Eli's grandparents are not big fans of Birthday parties. So we had a friends birthday party at Chuck E Cheese and then an Afternoon with Grandparents cake, ice cream, and presents. For some reason I thought Nick was taking pictures and Nick thought I was taking Pictures. Therefor these are the only pictures we have but we had a fun day with, Pops and Nanna, Grandma and Grandpa, and Leslie and Jerry ("adopted" grandparents).

Halloween

Eli wanted to be Shaggy from Scooby Doo. So we were all Scooby Characters, for our first party and for the fall day at school. However Ellie's costume didn't last the whole month so we had to make a last min. Fairy costume. On Halloween Ethan got very sick so he and I went to home and went to bed while daddy and Eli and Elle went trick or treating! In October we went to a Halloween party, Fall days at school, Boo Ha ha, the Wild Weather Show and Trick or Treating it was a fun busy month and way too much Candy in moms opinion :) here are some fun pics!

We went to the Carmichael's pumpkin farm, while we were there the kids rode horses, fed lots of animals, all of them played on the pumpkins and in a maze. Eli was the only one who wanted to ride the camel! They had so much fun and it was a fun day! Fall is my favorite! Enjoy all the photos!

Foster Care Classes

For 8 weeks Nick and I spent Tuesday and Thursday evenings at foster care classes. Grandma Grandpa, Uncle Matt, and Nanna babysat. They all did awesome and our kids loved it. Nick and I were very glad to be done with the classes.

Playing on the tractor at grandma's Ethan wanted out but when Morgan got in he decided he wanted back in. So he chased the girls.

I think sailing is one of my favorite things on earth! We have a small boat but there is something so fun about relying on the wind and just relaxing in awe of Gods beautiful lakes!
This wasn't one of our best trips, the rutter broke we sailed out an hour and half and then it took us two hours back in!

Ellie did not really like it at first, but by the end she loved it.

Eli was in love the minute I said would you like to go sailing, he was sooooo excited!

It was great and we loved Creede. We would love to spend every 4th of July there! Morgan really likes Nick. Morgan is my cousins youngest Daughter and well we get the blessing of keeping her until her mommy gets the help she needs. Morgan is a very healthy, happy 20 month old. We have had her for about 6 weeks. In that time she has grown 2 sizes,cut 3 teeth, she is walking and is saying momma, up, down and out. Which I think is very good. It took her about 3 days to start smiling and laughing and now that's all she does all the time. She is a very good baby. It has been change but its been fun.

We Spend a lot of time at Big splash, we love it! Ethan has very light blue and sensitive eyes so if he is not in the shade or have his glasses and hat on he has his eyes closed like this!
Eli is a sponge in water he loves it! Last year he had more fear but this year he is soo excited and no fear!

So when I say they are always together I mean it they really are best friends even at big splash they just swim circles around each other.

She really is this happy most of the time!

Softball

Nick started a softball team at our church, it has been bitter sweet. When there are enough men to play he really has a good time, On the other hand its tough getting everyone there! Nick was getting everyone their shirts and Hats, Eli is at his side when he is home.

Pom competition

Ellie and I enjoyed Lacey's Pom Competion, this is her Senior year and so our last year to go! We sat really far away but we could see that all of thier jumps were together and level! It is really amazing!
My biggers fear that night was Ellie would say " I think I want to be a cheeleader". However when Leslie asked her if she wanted to be a cheerleader she said "No I want to play basketball and Ballet!"

A Very Good Day!

A long day ending with a long bedtime story! They each get to pick a book Ellie picks My little pony often. Nick reads to them every night. Maybe once a week I read Bedtime stories. I read during the day and put laundry away during bedtime stories.
It rained everyday for about a week, we were so tired of being inside! when it finally warmed up we went outside in the rain. We played for about an hour!

They were very surprised when I joined them and even more shocked when I started jumping on the Trampoline! I love rainy days and now they do to. Sometimes my days run together. Staying at home gets busy and we get lost in play dates, learning time, snack time, juice cups and clean up songs. This was a day I will Never forget.

Madie's Birthday Party

Ethan took care of Ellie's Purse, Such a gentleman!
A Lady, Ellie even carries her Purse while flying a kite. She got the string twisted around her, it took forever to get it undone. She was patient when we were trying to fly the kites. I write this because usually she get frustrated quickly when things don't go her way.

This was Eli's major Kite Fit! He got very angry that it wouldn't fly and it wouldn't do it quick enough, who really knows? It was just time for a fit! This fit was so funny Nick and I were laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face and I had to hide it from Eli because it was very important he learned that fits were bad!! so Nick and I took turns talking to him and then trying to hide smiles and laughter and tears!

It was very fun and yet very disappointing, we could see the wind but couldn't find the wind!

The Funniest thing we do now is try to get a picture of all three of them, we probably take a hundred photos every time! So we may not have great photos but we will always have really great memories laughing at Eli! (this really was the best of 25+ shots)

We tried to get a picture of me with the kids and this is like photo number 355. haha we could not get them to stop talking or even look at the camera so then it just became a game! sooooo Close to crawling, and soooooo cute!
The gang was all at Grandmas Happy Easter.

Daddy was helping with the egg hunt. This was a break in the rain. It rained all day. This was the highlighted day in Nicks Super Dad life. I sang in the choir so I had to be at church an hour before Nick. So I made sure the kids were ready before I left and then he brought them to church. He did a great job and when he walked by the sanctuary he had Ethan falling out of his arms and Eli pulling on his pants and Ellie close behind.The choir applauded him as he walked by!

Elle had a very short attention span and was only interested for the first ten min. then when she realised she had to wait for the fish she was like "oh wow, ok well I'm done, that was fun!"

Matt is Literally always with us! We love it, he has grown up alot so Nick and I enjoy him and he picks on Ellie and Eli just like a big brother would. Eli thinks uncle Matt is IT!

Happy Birthday Nick ! SO Nick turned 30 but for his 30th he did not want to celebrate! But I thought turning 30 should be celebrated by learning something new. So I surprised him with a Fly fishing trip. Of coarse luck would have it, and the weather gave us snow and sleet, therefore very little fishing.

But lots of being lazy with no kids! We enjoyed the lazy part but we were ready to get the kids back! Oh well for the fishing, however nick is fully geared and ready when the weather is better!

Ethan is getting so big he is happy almost all the time.When Eli comes around he will stop playing with whatever is in his hands to stare at Eli.

Grandma is (so pretty!) Still our favorite person! If we don't get to see her by Friday Eli tells me he thinks grandma is missing him so we need to go to her house and see if she is working!

Ok well we made it all winter without the "Sick Stuff" then the 2nd week of Feb. it hit us hard! Everyone was sick both kids ear infections and Ethan a bronchial infection which led to breathing treatments! This pic was taken inside Dr.Bharani's office on a SUNDAY morning! He is the best Dr. ever and he says we are his favorite patients, although he tells all of his patience that! We like to think he really means it when he says it to us!:)

Ellie and her friend Micha at her class valentines day party, I got to help host. They are such a cute class!

They ate a plate full of cookies and snacks then they did all of these silly songs and dances they know, this is where I was introduced to the song a "tooty ta a tooty tata" I don't think a day goes by that we don't sing this totally crazy song I sing it Ellie does the dance, Ethan cracks up and Eli begs us to stop. It is one of the highlights of my day!

Baby Chloe finally joined our family, Ellie was very excited about her, there will be another girl around!

Valentines Day

Ellie and Daddy went to their first Father Daughter Dance! As you can she see was Very excited. She started the day off with an ear infection and by the end of the day she was ready to go dancing, When she got back she said dancing is easy just watch what everyone else is doing and then do that.

Granny sent them a cookie bouquet and Pops and Nana sent them a card they were all so excited!

Of coarse cookies are Eli's favorite thing ever!

It took us a while to get into the cookies, however 3 seconds was to long!

Only in Oklahoma! Last week it was Ice and snow everywhere, then this Sat. it was mid 7o. It was great we were so excited we didn't know what to do so at the last min we decided to take the kids for a hike. I didn't think they would make it very long so I didn't bring Ethan's hiking pack all I had was the sling. And to my surprise Elle and Eli did great they hiked a good hour and for their little legs that's amazing. They didn't complain one time and Sunday after church they were ready to go again! I am soo ready for Summer Now!

Every morning Nick takes Ellie to school and Eli stands at the door watching like this. Unless daddy forgets to hug and kiss him bye(even though he comes right back!) then he will stand at the door crying "daddy didn't kiss meeeeee". Eli is lost when Ellie goes to school he follows me around instead of her.

And this Ellie comming home she alwasy comes home in a bad mood but she loves school and Eli is soo happy for her to be home, they usually argue for the first ten minutes she is back and then they are best friends again.

Ethan is sitting up a little and he loves Eli's monkey!

Unlce Matt has been grounded and we love when he is grounded he has more time to come and play with us!

Ethan spotted his toes! However Hwhen he sits in the bumbo he gets stuck , it is so funny. He is getting to big to fast!

Grammy spent a week with us and Ethan loved it he was held the entire time! I enjoyed the following week because he wanted to be held all time. On the other hand nothing got done!

Well it is official we have now been married for 8 years, as Korney as it sounds we really do love each other more now than the day we said I do. Our inside jokes are better, our laughs are longer and harder, and our commitment is stronger. We spent our anniversary thinking about the day we were married and what we were like 8 years ago. Other than 15lbs lighter we were about the same. We were a little more carefree, creative and spontaneous. However we traded those things for stability,responsibility, and the capability of understanding Gods love of Children and a life desiring to serve him more. I am not sure what God has planned for our life but we are certain if we keep our eyes and hearts on God and serving him, our life together will be more than what we imagined them to be 8 years ago.

Ethan has been enjoying his tongue this week! It is reminding us of Ellie she went through this stage for a month. She had her tongue hanging out of her mouth every time we looked at her.
Eli is right by daddy's side the minute he walks through the door. And he calls him dada it drives me nuts and Nick loves it. ( I think he only loves it because it drives me nuts.)
They really are this crazy everyday! Lets just say I don't remember a day of boredom in the last few years!

Ethan can now roll over but only when he is very angry. Or when he wakes up in his crib.
Everyday after school Ellie changes clothes into anything she wants to wear and this past week this was the outfit of choice. You might not be able to see it but I'm telling you this girl has a wonderful sence of style!
This truck has been dubbed the Monster truck and it is really fast. I think it was for Eli but this picture proves Bryan and Megan correct in saying I have four children!
I think Ethan is focused on food! And Ellie now poses when she sees the camera. She is so much fun!

This is Ellie watching Daddy and Uncle Zack play with her Hannah Montana barbie and house they said they were just "putting it together" but they played with it for a good 30 min.
Christmas morning Ellie made sure Santa and the Reindeer ate their snacks.
All Eli wanted Santa to bring was a Sword so Santa left him 5 Swords and a cellphone.
Santa left Ellie a Troy doll and High School Musical Microphone! They were easy this year we are afraid next year might be I Phones.

Ellie is leaving cookies for Santa, this year we had tons of reindeer food to leave to.

Grandma is trying to brain wash him into liking her more than me. It worked with Eli but it is not going to work with Ethan. The war is on!
Little chef and I are baking cookies for Santa. Eli is always the first in the kitchen and last to leave. I thought it was just a phase but he really does love cooking.

The Smiths have Breakfast with Santa!

Ethan wasn't afraid at all. However he did sleep through most of breakfast.

The Smith Family celebrated the 2nd annual Christmas the first weekend in December.Yes you read that correctly! This is Friday evening at Nanna and Pops house. We had Christmas dinner and opened presents. Ethan and Aunt Bri opening presents.

Daddy helping Eli with Christmas and birthday presents. He was very excited about these tools mostly the electric drill, after all the presents were open Eli and his cousin Ruby played Dr. with a Dr kit and these tools.

Ellie playing with her cousin Wyatt. They had so much fun with their cousins this weekend they are still talking about it.

The best part about the Smith family Christmas is taking photos and believe me there are tons of photos the here we are trying to get a shot of all the Grand kids remember they are all under the age of 4. Aunt Megan and Aunt Ashlee are trying to get them to smile, or at least look in the general area of the camera. I think they did everything but Jumping Jacks... ok really I am beside Megan doing the jumping jacks I just didn't get caught on film:)

We had a great time at the Balloon Fiesta this year. The weather was perfect for the A.M. mass lift off there were 600 Balloons. We also went to the Balloon Glow at night and the kids were really excited when it got dark. Nick and I went to the Balloon Museum it was really neat there is more history to Ballooning than I thought.
